“Farewell, FamiKamen Rider” – Now Live on YouTube

We are thrilled to present our full length feature film, “Farewell, FamiKamen Rider” to the world for free and without commercial interruption through YouTube today.  It has been a long time coming, and we are very proud to show what work we’ve accomplished this past year with the help of all of you.  You’ve all made this happen.  Justin Carmical’s legacy and story can finally be told and closed, and I hope you’re all satisfied with the result, as you had a hand in making it happen.  Thank you for the love and the support.  I’m glad we got to see our friend, JewWario, ride on one last time.

Again, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

We look forward to posting more material related to the making of the movie in the near future.

Approaching Web Release

Hello, all.  It’s been a while since we last spoke, but I wanted to give an update on our anticipated web release of Farewell, FamiKamen Rider.  The MAGFest debut went wonderfully, and we are looking forward to sharing the movie with the rest of you who couldn’t be there.  At this time, we are looking at the web release of the movie to be in one more month, on April 15th, 2015.  This is a soft release date, so we’re giving ourselves a little room for error, but in general we would like to stick to this date as best as we can.

The idea is to first release the movie streaming on twitch.tv/marzgurl during a live broadcast so that you can experience the movie for the first time together with everyone else in one shared emotional experience.  Immediately after that, we will be unlocking the movie on YouTube for free as well, so that anyone who was not able to make it either to the MAGFest or live stream debuts will be able to watch it at their own leisure.  We’ll be sure to give you some more specific updates on the exact time of the release, but until then please keep your eyes here on this page.  We’re so close, and we wouldn’t be here without you.  Thank you for your kindness and your support after all this time.

Farewell, FamiKamen Rider – Teaser Trailer

MarzGurl Productions presents “Saraba/Farewell, FamiKamen Rider,” the thrilling conclusion to the story authored by the late Justin Carmical. After a massive fight in Canada, the FamiKamen Rider has gone missing in action, leaving his transformation belt behind and his cartridge vanished. In the aftermath of the battle, a new enemy appears, seeking out the power of the FamiKamen Rider for himself.

For three years, MarzGurl has kept the transformation belt safe from enemy hands. Her search for the missing cartridge proves futile, until Chris, a rare video game collector, stumbles upon the cartridge by chance. Not knowing what he has found, Chris’s curiosity makes him a target for this new evil. As he learns about the history of the FamiKamen Rider, with the additional support of an old friend and a new hero, it is up to MarzGurl and Chris to make the journey to find answers, confront their own fears, and stop this new threat before it is too late.

Saraba/Farewell, FamiKamen Rider is shooting for a MAGFest 2015 premiere.

Be an Extra in the FamiKamen Rider Movie!

We’re happy to be able to extend an opportunity for anyone and everyone to appear in our FamiKamen Rider movie (Farewell, FamiKamen Rider) being made in loving memory of Justin “JewWario” Carmical.

We need you guys to send us a video of three things. If you have a computer and a camera, this should be easy. The first thing we need is for you guys to set up your camera just slightly to the side of where you look at your computer screen. That way the angle looks something like this. ~example~ Once you have it set up like that, we need you guys to film no more than 30 seconds of each of the next three things, totalling a minute and a half at max. The first thing is footage of you looking at your computer and looking surprised and concerned about what’s on the screen. The second is for you guys to cheer on the FamiKamen Rider. At this point in the movie, he’s in a fight and needs all the support he can get from his fans – you guys. We specifically want to make sure you’re cheering for the FamiKamen Rider, not Justin or JewWario. And then the last thing is footage of you cheering in victory. Here’s a quick example. And that’s it! If you guys only have access to a web cam, that’s fine, we’ll look at those, but using the angle we asked for is preferable. We really need this to help finish the filming, and we’re giving you until 11:59 PM CST on January 3rd, 2015. You can feel free to upload it to YouTube. If you don’t want it to be public, go ahead and leave it as unlisted, but be sure to send us the link. You can do this either to our Twitter accounts @MarzGurl or @JoshKnight1st, or send them as an attachment in an E-mail or a link from another file sharing site to marzgurl@marzgurlproductions.com. Please leave your name so that we can give you proper credit in the movie. Your real name is preferable, but if you don’t wish to provide that, a screen name will suffice. So that’s your mission, guys. We hope to see a lot of submissions soon. Thanks for the help!

Screenshot from the Movie!

Some time has passed and we’ve been hard at work all the time getting the rest of the scenes shot for the movie, but we wanted to show you at least one thing from the time we were able to spend with Matt Burkett shooting the scenes with the FamiKamen Rider.  So, without further ado, here’s a shot of our hero!

There’s still lots more work to be done with the movie, but it’s getting there!  We look forward to giving you more details very, very soon.
